Bioluminescent Furmonger

This is a painting commissioned by my friend Austyn. I like how it came out, I want to do a series of these bioluminescent furmongers with girls for my show. Time to get busy!

Tuscan Landscape

Finally!!! After all the blood, sweat, and tears... it's done. I know this piece is a little out of my genre, but I think it came out well. This a commissioned copy of Leland Beaman's,  An Evening in Tuscany. It's done with oil and it's 30x40 inches. Stare hard at it.

Quicksilver Jeans!!!

In one of my earlier posts, I had an image that I did for my friend Danny who is having his signature jean coming out for Quicksilver. I designed the back patch thing that is supposed resemble the cover of "The Catcher in the Rye". I wasn't sure if they were going to use it or not, but I saw an add in the new Transworld... so I guess they are. Thanks Danny!!!

Another Tattoo

Seems like all I do now is design tattoos for people. However, this one I felt was for a good cause. My friend wanted a tattoo in memory of one her friends that was killed by a drunk driver. The low-life was going the wrong way on the freeway. I had met her friend Ashley a few times and remember her being very friendly, not to mention very pretty. My friend wanted the tattoo to go on her right foot, so use your imaginations. I'll post the photo of the results.

New Stuff!

Here we have one of my newest works. It's a 2'x3'  oil painting on maple with a teak stain. I spent a while on this one. Hopefully it was worth all of the effort. Enjoi!

Old Mural

This was my friend Travis' room/garage that he was living in for a while in downtown Fullerton. He wanted me to do a mural on his wall and this is what I came up with. Hopefully he didn't have trouble sleeping with this guy staring at him all night.

Various Tattoos

Over the years, I've had people ask me to design tattoos for them. I don't actually know how to do it myself, I'd probably end up covered with them. Anyways, here are some photos of tattoos I've designed for people. There are more out there though, I'm trying to find the rest.

The one above was for one my friends. He wanted his nickname in block letters running down his arm. I think for what he wanted, I did the best I could. The tattoo came out really nice though. It really looks just like the original.

This one was for my cousin who wanted one of my dandelions on the back of her leg. She got it done at some parlor that's run by all girls. I think she did a good job on it. On her other leg, the dandelions are floating off, creating the shape of a heart when she puts her legs together.

This one was for my other cousin. She just wanted an eye. I'm supposed to design more to go around it, but I've been kind of lagging on it.

Dang! This one is really old. Circa 2002. Anyways, this guy wanted this tattoo that had a whole back story about his father whose nickname was the Owl. Well, I guess the old Owl had a gambling problem. I just did the outline of the tattoo for him. I had nothing to do with the crazy psychedelic colors or what went inside of the cards, I left the cards blank! Just making that point.

Angel Bunny

This was another Sml. wheel graphic I did but was scrapped. It was in memory of my friend Austyn's rabbit that passed away. I guess you're not supposed to feed rabbits iceberg lettuce, they poop themselves to death. Poor Dr. Steve Bruhl. It didn't fit well in the wheel so it couldn't be used. HAPPY EARTH DAY!

Evan Schiefelbine Tribute Board

Recently my friend and fellow boarder Evan Schiefelbine moved up to the home of Grunge, Starbuck's, and while I'm at it, setting of an early 90's Box Office smash starring Tom Hanks. If you don't know where that is, well, click on the image and see if that helps. Anyways, this is the tribute skateboard graphic I did for my internship over at Liberty Boardshop where Evan used to be part of the staff.

Forest Dwelling

Second project for my digital illustration class. I think the Wacom was a good investment. I've been having fun with it so far.

Lab Partner Mayhem

This was my first attempt doing digital work. I'm still trying to get used to the whole idea.

Sequoia

I started this one on a little camping adventure up in Sequoia. I had to finish it when I got home though because some of my friends have no patience. Non-artists of course.

Sketchbook

Just a tortoise.

Old Board Graphic

This was an old skateboard graphic I did for Liberty Boardshop. The finished one had some color, but I just like the outline of it better.

Sketchbook

Two pages from my sketchbook. I thought the guys on the right were funny.

Happy Early Halloween

I found this old Halloween card I did a couple years ago. Everything is ink except for the lettering. I was running out of time so I cheated. I know, I know, I'm sorry.
